What did I want for my birthday? To be a PRINCESS, of course!

Of course, my daughters got that treatment. Being a day tripper, it is not often we experience the resorts and Disney transportation to the parks. For my birthday weekend, we booked a room a the All Star Movies Resort. After breakfast, we boarded the bus and the cast member driving pushed a button and it made a special announcement about traveling with special princesses. I though How Cute! But the royal treatment had just begun! When we arrived at the Magic Kingdom, the driver asked us if we could keep the girls on board, he wanted to do something. Sure, why not? Well, he pulls up to the front of the unloading area and there is a red carpet waiting. My girls get off the bus to cheers and (fake) cameras flashing, were given balloons, a balloon flower bouquet and some fancy swanky rings! What a way to start their day!

I had never seen this before-just WOW! The girls were just over-the-moon happy and daddy and I just adored the look on their faces.

SQUIRREL-so Friday night, we went to Hollywood Studios to catch Fantasmic! Evelyn, my 5 yo, loved the show-my 3 yo, spent most of it burying her face in my chest, but asked to go again once Mickey saved the day! We used Fastpasses for this, and I am thinking this is a fastpass not worth it-we walked right in with everyone else, there was no special seating for us...If I am wrong and there is a reason to get one-someone let me know, but I do not think I will FP this one again.
Waiting for Fantasmic!

And now for your regularly scheduled programming (my bday at MK)...

We had some amazing Meet and Greets-Backstage Mickey (he talks!!!), Tinkerbell, Ariel, and DRUMROLL PLEASE...Anna and Elsa!!!

Mickey says "What beautiful Princesses! Let me get on my knee like I am your prince!"

What's a year at Disney without a family picture with Mickey!

Mommy was super excited to meet the Queen and Princess of Arendale too! Especially since the wait was *gasp* under an hour!!

This Minnie is in the store where you exit Princess Fairytale Hall. Too pretty to pass up!

I just love again how the characters interact with us! Ariel was asking Sofia for advice on "dressing up her tail" like her skirt, Anna engaged me (not the kids-me!) in a conversation about birthday traditions in Arendale. Needless to say, I would have needed the entire cast of Frozen's help to eat as many chocolate cakes as I turned!
A little more of that ol' Disney magic!

So, this post seems long enough. We did go back to Hollywood Studios on Sunday and had a blast! I will post that soon. In the meantime, I am off on another Disney adventure-a girls weekend with one of my besties!
